Born in Florida, with a BFA in Graphic Design from CalArts, Mary has served long stints in big cities on the west coast (Los Angeles) and east coast (New York), before settling at FUEL in downtown Greenville, SC. Her arching geographical path mirrors her broad skill set as a creative leader, as she serves as a vital bridge between conceptual design and digital experiences. Mary has successfully integrated the two disciplines for the past 18 years, working with big brands such as Walmart, Verizon, American Express, and GE, among others. Her agency experience includes the likes of Publicis, R/GA, Digitas, and Frog Design in NYC. She believes strongly that purposeful design has the ability to make a substantial impact on our lives: "influencing our choices about the shoes we walk in, the apps we use daily, or the street signs that lead us home." When not conjuring up marketing solutions, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. If she’s not with her kids, she’s probably on her Peloton bike, practicing yoga, or riding her Triumph Bonneville motorcycle (preferably in another country).
